Illinois State University maintains a University Policy and Procedures website which includes official policies that apply University-wide. These policies require final approval by the President prior to implementation, revision or deletion.
All official University policies are subject to the Illinois State University Board of Trustees Governing Document and applicable federal and state laws and regulations.
The standard document format is:

If the new or revised policy, or request for deletion of a policy is approved by the President, it must be forwarded to the Office of General Counsel to be published on the University Policy and Procedures website. The Office of General Counsel is responsible for maintaining and updating the website.
