9.5.5 Procedures for University Web Privacy Notices and Practices

I. Introduction

The following procedures establish responsibility for the creation and display of University Web Privacy Notices and Practices.

II. Creation of Web Privacy Notices and Practices

The Associate Vice President, Chief Technology Officer or designee is responsible for the creation of University Web Privacy Notices and Practices. The statement will be maintained by University Web Support.

III. Display of Web Privacy Notice and Practices Statement

All University Websites are required to place a link in the footer of their first page that will direct the user to the most current University Web Privacy Notice and Practices Statement. This requirement also extends to any special individual, area, or departmental websites that represent to the public that their website reflects operational functions, products or services associated with Illinois State University.
