Upon request, the Grounds Management Unit will provide space for construction and storage of three Homecoming floats. Space is reserved on a first come basis by calling 438-2032 between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
The organization requesting storage space must specify the contact person, phone number, and proposed construction and storage dates. The sponsoring organization is responsible for the clean up of all construction debris after each day's work. Failure to clean the storage area will result in the removal of the sponsoring organization from the following year's storage request list.
The contact person must report to the Grounds Management Unit between 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m. on the work day prior to their suggested construction date. At that time a single key will be distributed and a brief site visit will be conducted. The contact person is responsible for notifying the ISU Police Department, 438-8631, each day/night the organization plans to work on the float.
All floats must be removed, final clean up completed, and keys returned not later than the Monday following Homecoming.
The organization will be charged $25.00 for lost keys, and a fee for trash disposal if deemed necessary.
